Day 1 - Experiencing a Health Revolution

I am sitting in bed next to my husband, with wet hair from swimming and a full stomach from a Thanksgiving dinner I ate over 24 hours ago.

When did it happen? When did I get to a point in my life where it was acceptable to top off three pounds of turkey and sides with four desserts? What happened to the little voice in my head that at one time in my life would warn me of such a endeavor and plead with me to put the fork down?

I am Emily. I'm a 30 year old woman who has lost her waistline, and little bit of her sanity. I have reached a weight that most women in their 3rd trimester don't reach. I have a wonderful Husband, and a solid faith in God. What I don't have is the common sense to put down a dinner fork that has already lifted its max load for the evening.

My goal during this next year is to learn how to say no the good things, in order to yes to the great things in life. This blogging project is a way for me to record my thoughts, feelings, progress, fits of rage and successes. It is my desire to experience renewal of the body, soul and mind.

Day 1 Recap
Eating: Fair.
Exercise: 2 miles walk & 20 minutes of pool jogging
