Day 2 - Experiencing Credit

In our lives, we find inspiration in people or things we didn't expect. It was a gift from a friend that Ben Franklin toyed with the idea that lightening was indeed electricity and that it could be harnessed. Vera Wang found her inspiration for fashion design in figure skating. Now, I am no Ben Franklin or Vera Wang, but my fire has been lit, and I must give credit where credit is due.

A friend of mine has started a blog detailing what it's like being a new mother and tackling a weight issues that has plagued her, her whole life. Her name is Crystal Stennett, and you can check out her blog at http://crystal-stennett.blogspot.com/. Crystal and I see each other at church, live in same apartment complex, and were in a church small group together. In all that, I never knew that she struggled with her weight much like I do, and that she too is trying to take back control over the mighty dinner roll.

After reading her blog, I was inspired to go and work out. I was inspired to take a deeper look at why I eat like I eat, and why I don't take my health seriously. I was inspired to write my own blog as a sort of journal and accountability system for myself. I am really excited to record my daily experiences in striving toward a healthier and happier me. Thank you Crystal for your inspiration.
